Where New Life Takes Root

Seed Deep Abbey is a Christ-centered, contemplative, spiritual formation community for women in their second half of life.

We walk with women through divorce, loss, menopause, identity change, and the long unraveling that often follows.

The TRUTH is:

The unraveling is not the problem; it is the very ground of your resurrection. It’s the slow undoing of the woman you had to become to survive.

What looked like an ending was actually a planting.
Your old life was the seed.

Now, the woman God made you to be can finally rise.

At the Abbey, we tend to what God is growing in you, in the company of other women walking the same path.

The Abbey might be for you if…

  • You have spent decades being the competent one. The faithful one. The one who held it together when everything around you wobbled. You were good at it. You are still good at it. But you’re tired, and you want off the hamster wheel.

  • Somewhere in the last few years — through a divorce, a loss, menopause, or some other unraveling you could not control — the cost of being that woman finally caught up with you.

  • You can feel that the version of you who got you this far cannot take you any further. You sense that underneath all your competence, something vital is asking to be seen and set free.

  • You’re done with surface-level religion or self-help spirituality. You feel spiritually hungry for something deeper, more embodied, more connected, more sacred.

  • You long for a truly safe, authentic, beloved Christian spiritual community where you can show up as your authentic self, even on your hardest day, and be loved, held, and supported in your transformation.

Whether through 1:1 direction, group direction, courses, or retreats, Seed Deep offers a sacred place to heal, grow, and rediscover your identity as
God’s beloved.

    Back to Belovedness Courses

We tend the wounds beneath the woman you had to become. The parent-wounds, the inherited fear or trauma, the coping and survival mechanisms and patterns dressed up as virtue. Not to fix you. To free you.

    Movement II - Formation

    1:1 Spiritual or Group Direction

We help you learn to live from your true self — the woman God seeded in you, who has been buried underneath all your strategies for the safety and love she needs to emerge.

  • Multiple layers of mountain ridges fading into the distance, with a soft gradient of blue hues and a pale sky above.

    Movement III - Pilgrimage

    Seed Deep Retreats

We mark the new ground. Retreats, sacred travel, and embodied practices that confirm in your body what God has been doing in your soul.

Spiritual Formation

Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. - John 12:24

Identity in Christ

At Seed Deep Abbey, we believe the second half of a woman’s life can become a season of profound spiritual transformation. The losses, fractures, and unexpected turns in your story are never wasted. Instead, they are the very places where God begins growing something new.

Spiritual formation here is not about striving harder or performing better.
It is about surrendering more deeply to the One who restores us from the inside out.

As women encounter their identity in Christ - not just intellectually, but emotionally, relationally, and spiritually - they begin to live from a place of belovedness that reshapes their relationship with God, themselves, and others.

This is the quiet work of resurrection. This is freedom in Christ.

Beloved Community

Jesus showed us that true transformation only happens in community.
That’s why we believe that no woman grows alone.

Especially in the second half of life, when decades of experiences have shaped who we are.

Seed Deep Abbey is a sisterhood where women are invited to bring their full stories into God’s loving presence and beloved community.

You are welcomed into a Holy Spirit-shaped space where women listen deeply, honor one another’s stories, and rediscover the hope of resurrection life together.

Why This Work Matters

Women who discover healing and belovedness in their own stories often become carriers of hope for others.

When God brings resurrection life to places that once felt dead, those stories become powerful sources of healing in families, friendships, churches, and communities.

Seed Deep Abbey exists not only for personal transformation, but so that women whose lives have passed through loss may become gardens of healing and hope for the world.
